In March we’re going to be in Summerlin at the Pkway Tavern on Flamingo, just east of the 215.

You will get a free happy hour appetizer and soft drink - bring your own $ or card if you want an adult beverage or different food from the menu.

These meetups always bring so much information-sharing and offer an opportunity to connect with other parents. The event is from 4-6 pm but please come whenever you can make it - RSVP required so we can grab enough seats!

Annual Egg Hunt for Down Syndrome Connections Community (Free - all ages)

Down Syndrome Connections will have its annual egg hunt at Fox Hill Park on Sunday March 29 from 4-6 pm. People of all ages with trisomy 21, their siblings and friends are invited to participate.

Enjoy an afternoon of playing together - don’t forget to bring a basket to collect some eggs. This is a great park; we will have some fun and games available in addition to the egg hunt.

Join us for a relaxing afternoon with #theluckyfew!

This session will give you an overview of the steps that make up a full plan, knowing that we all need more help in some areas than others.

Jennie Dopp with Caring Tide spoke at DSConnect25 last October and got rave reviews from those who attended her session. Because the topic is SO IMPORTANT, we’re bringing you another session - this time ONLINE.

Jennie will be doing a 3-hour Deep Dive at the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention in July in Orlando - you get to hear her without having to leave home!

This session explores essential elements such as support networks, emergency planning, financial strategies, benefits, estate planning, housing costs, employment, caregiving, and strategies for independence. You’ll leave with practical tools and resources to confidently prepare for your loved one’s long-term care and answer the question, “What will happen when I can no longer provide care?”

Pancakes With Princesses

MORE TICKETS HAVE BEEN ADDED FOR BOTH SEATINGS.

Invite your family, friends and teachers to join you for the 4th Annual Pancakes with Princesses breakfast. Princesses, princes, super heroes and special guests will join us for a fun morning, good food and great company!

Tickets are $10 for children 3-9, $15 for those 10 or older; 2 and under are free.

Applebee’s staff cooks and plates the breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage. DSC volunteers seat guests and deliver meals, accompanied by coffee, orange juice or water.

Join us in supporting Opportunity Village and the great work they do for individuals with Down syndrome! Enjoy a couple hours with our #theluckyfew families, enjoying rides and the beautiful lights and sights of the Magical Forest.

Down Syndrome Connections is offering free admission, up to three tickets per family, to the Magical Forest on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 5:00 pm.

Each family can have up to three tickets for people ages 4 and up (children under 3 are free) - one of the tickets must be for an individual with Down syndrome. We will meet at 5:15 pm in the parking lot between Opportunity Village and the CSN campus to take a group photo. Food and drink and gift purchases are optional, and not included in your ticket.
