at Faith Lutheran Middle & High School Campus

The theme of this year’s conference is "Meeting The Future", with focus what you can do to support our individuals with Down syndrome, in the face of unknown (but expected) changes to programs and services that may be far-reaching.

Our keynote speaker is Hampus Hillerstrom CEO of LuMind IDSC Foundation and dad to an 11 year old with Down syndrome. He will bring a message of hope for people with T21 and their families, and preview research that will profoundly impact their lives for the better.

Do you want to help Nevada's Down syndrome community feel hope in the face of uncertainty?

DSC Nevada is looking for a few more people to be a part of the conference planning committee! The committee's main projects are selecting speakers, choosing lunch and swag, and creating a program that flows for parents/caregivers and teens/adults with DS. We want a program that covers many age groups and common health concerns across the lifespan and seek to add a diverse group of people to contribute their unique perspectives to the mix.

The committee meets virtually once a month, in the evening, and helps with set up on the morning of the conference. Next meeting is May 7 at 7 pm on zoom. To get more info on joining the committee, call or text Lisa at 702-875-5007 or email downsyndromconnectionsLV@gmail.com.
